Job description
Responsibilities
1. Core Accounting Operations & Control
  • Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions and manage the full monthly closing process, ensuring organizational financial stability and accuracy.
  • Monitor and assist in cash flow management and planning for the corporate headquarters, implementing effective credit management and collection strategies to improve working capital.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments to resolve accounting issues and ensure a smooth, timely monthly closing activity.
2. Financial Analysis, Forecasting & Cost Efficiency
  • Lead the forecasting and budgeting cycles, integrating finance operations with business strategy to provide forward-looking data.
  • Conduct in-depth financial reporting and variance analysis, working closely with executive teams to share insights, optimize operational cost efficiency, and reduce expenses across the business.
  • Analyze and prepare financial statements for consolidation purposes, including necessary schedules for tax compliance.
  • Present detailed financial reports and highlight potential risk areas to senior management, supporting data‑driven strategic decisions.
3. Compliance & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary liaison and engagement point for external professional parties, including auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, and the Company Secretary.
  • Ensure timely and substantive responses to internal and external audit recommendations, taking ownership of the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Responsible for the preparation of all supporting audit schedules and documentation required for external reviews, ensuring full statutory compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum LCCI diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands‑on working experience in the manufacturing sector handling full sets of accounts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with the SAP system or other major ERP systems is required.
  • Skills: Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem‑solving skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet tight deadlines; excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
