Check and verify incoming raw materials from suppliers and intercompany to ensure they meet the quality requirements.
Prepare Incoming Material Inspection Record and submit to superior for review and verification.
In Process Quality Control (IPQC):
Confirm and verify 1st article sample before proceeding with production.
Verify 1st article using raw material from production mould, colour chips, and tools such as lighting box, colour spectrometer, etc.
Inspect and verify pigment process to ensure production follows documented Work Instructions and delivers high-quality products.
Prepare QC reports.
Check and verify production output (Masterbatch) and QC reports.
Outgoing Inspection:
Check and verify outgoing finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Stamp QC Pass upon completion of outgoing inspection.
Prepare outgoing reports and submit to superior for review and verification.
Maintain accurate storage of color chips and production samples for easy retrieval.
Develop and implement process strategies and rework formulations.
Follow up on the improvement of non-conforming processes/products and guide rework activities.
Provide customer service in terms of quality assurance and maintain good customer relations.
Assist superior with overall site Quality Management System through metrics, auditing, and documentation updates.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior.
Requirements:
Minimum SPM or Certificate or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3 years experience as a QC Inspector in manufacturing.
Knowledge or experience in plastic injection moulding environment is preferable.
Hands-on experience with plastic injection moulding machines is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office and quality inspection tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Willing to travel to outstation when required.
