Job summary
A leading technology solutions provider located in Penang, Malaysia, is searching for an Account Payable Specialist. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for managing travel and entertainment reimbursements, conducting month-end activities, and enhancing accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have an accounting degree and 1–2 years of experience, along with strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, and a working knowledge of Oracle. Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional work experience in accounting or related fields.
- Ability to review and audit employee expense reports.
- Experience in month-end closing activities.
Responsibilities
- Review and audit employee expense reports to ensure policy compliance.
- Support employees with T&E related inquiries and issue resolution.
- Perform month-end closing activities and prepare reports for management.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and enhance processes.
- Manage and administer the corporate credit card program.

The Account Payable Specialist is responsible for travel and entertainment (T&E) reimbursements, support month‑end activities, and help improve our accounting processes.
- Review and audit employee expense reports to ensure policy compliance.
- Support employees with T&E related inquiries and issue resolution.
- Perform month‑end closing activities and prepare reports for management.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve issue and enhance processes and efficiency.
- Manage and administer the corporate credit card program, including card issuance, maintenance and inquiries and issue resolution.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.
- Accounting degree required.
- Typically requires 1–2 years of professional work experience.
- Standard computer literacy (MS Office, Outlook).
- Working knowledge of Oracle.
- Good at Excel and other Microsoft tools.
