SENIOR LEGAL ASSOCIATE (LITIGATION AND/OR CORPORATE & CONVEYANCING)

2 VACANCIES NEEDED

• Plan and execute projects and/or tasks to complete various matters
• Practice diverse areas of laws
• Manage a team of 1 assistant and 2 associates
• Meet tight timelines
• Assist the Firm to handle matters across various departments
• Report and update the Partner and take instructions
• Able to handle pressure well
• Solution oriented
• Able to adapt to and execute Firm's direction and/or instruction
• Able to perform advocacy skills (Litigation)
• Able to attend case management, Trial/Hearing (Litigation)
• 6 to 8 years post qualification experience

JUNIOR LEGAL ASSOCIATE (LITIGATION AND/OR CORPORATE & CONVEYANCING)

2 VACANCIES NEEDED

• Handle various portfolio of work
• Attend court for hearing and/or due diligence exercises & property related matters and/or willing to learn to draft cause papers and submission
• Conduct research
• Good research skills (Legal authorities based)
• Able to comply with instruction and responsible to meet timeline.
• Do opinion writing and be able to give independent opinion
• High commitment to complete assigned task and learn
• Able to perform advocacy skills (Litigation)
• Able to attend case management, Trial/Hearing (Litigation)
• Able to be a team player

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Hardworking & be able to work with the team
• Self‑motivated and committed
• Must possess own transport
• Report and update superiors promptly
• Converse in English and Bahasa Melayu languages (Mandarin will be an added advantage)
