Responsibilities

• Handle a full spectrum of litigation matters from case initiation to completion.
• Draft, prepare and review pleadings, cause papers, affidavits, submissions and related legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide sound advice on various legal and procedural issues.
• Attend court hearings, trials, case managements and mediations.
• Manage and communicate effectively with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or equivalent.
• Admitted and enrolled as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
• 3 to 7 years of solid litigation experience in a law firm environment.
• Experience handling clients or matters involving cross-border or Chinese-speaking clients is an advantage.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin (to communicate effectively with clients from China).
• Excellent client-handling and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
