Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of validation activities, including method validation, equipment qualification, and process validation.
- Prepare and maintain validation documentation such as protocols, worksheets, raw data records, and summary reports.
- Perform routine validation-related laboratory tasks such as sample preparation, testing, and system suitability checks.
- Ensure validation activities comply with internal SOPs, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., GLP, GMP, ISO).
- Preparing quotations and contracts.
Reporting & Documentation
- Compile, review, and format laboratory data into clear, accurate, and traceable reports.
- Maintain organized laboratory records, logbooks, and electronic data systems.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, validation summaries, and audit-ready documentation.
General
- Follow laboratory safety rules and good housekeeping practices at all times.
- Assist with routine laboratory tasks, including reagent preparation, equipment checks, and inventory tracking.
- Maintain awareness of current SOPs and quality procedures.
- Interact and manage 3rd party laboratories to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of validation activities.
- Maintain measuring and test equipment in good working condition and manage consumables (FIFO).
- Expand our business presence by growing our customer base.
Qualifications
Education
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in any of the above fields, in a hands-on capacity.
- Active field service experience with active engagement with customers.
- Familiarity with validation concepts, laboratory documentation, and reporting are added advantages.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
- Good spoken & written communication skills, for communication with hospital and laboratory staff and for technical documentation.
- Basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation and testing procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to follow procedures, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
Working Conditions
- Office and field service-based role, with routine use of measuring equipment and tools, and computer.
- May require standing for extended periods and handling laboratory materials in accordance with safety guidelines.
