Qualifications

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Sciences & Nutrition or equivalent.
• 1 - 3 years working experience in UHT, Beverage, Ice cream, and/or other related food industry.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirement of the job (handling product with average weight of 20kg).

Responsibilities

• R&D Technician is responsible for assisting a researcher or research team with product development projects.
• Keep laboratory organized, cleaned and maintenance/calibration of instruments and pilot plants.
• Prototypes development in the laboratory to achieve all goals in team or in autonomy with minimal supervision.
• Report all the test and development processes and results.
• Able to use computer to keep accurate files, perform research tasks using the internet, and help to design project requirements.
• Be responsible for making sure the sample, equipment, and any raw materials are handled correctly.
• Recognize when test results are not meeting expectations and notify the supervisor.
• Assist R&D team from prototype development to industrialization.
• Compute formulas, percentages or production specific factors using mathematical procedures.
• Operate laboratory and pilot plant equipment.
• Keeping the laboratory, instruments and pilot plants clean before and after it is used.
• Organize equipment, procedures and set up the laboratory. Contribute to create the procedures of the laboratory and the establishment and implementation of processing activities, including safety, in the areas of working and pilot plants.
