Job description

We are seeking a Laboratory Equipment Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory diagnostic and analytical equipment in hospitals, reference laboratories, and research facilities. The role ensures laboratory instruments operate reliably, accurately, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards while providing exceptional technical support to laboratory personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM), corrective repairs, and emergency service on laboratory diagnostic and analytical equipment.
  • Install new laboratory equipment and perform calibration, validation, and acceptance testing.
  • Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and software-related faults using diagnostic tools and service software.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., ISO, CAP, CLIA, GMP where applicable).
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, service reports, and spare parts inventory.
  • Provide on-site technical support, operator training, and technical guidance to laboratory staff.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent service requests as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
