Job summary
A tech firm in Malaysia is looking for a Business Analyst for junior, mid, and senior positions. The role entails understanding product solutions, preparing user requirements, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Responsibilities include documenting specifications, managing relationships with business partners, and ensuring project delivery satisfaction. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Science and strong analytical and communication skills are encouraged to apply. Fresh graduates are welcome. Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.

Skills
Education
Primary responsibility is to understand the product / solutions and prepare user requirement, functional specifications for new or modified program to determine feasibility, compatibility with current system architecture and computer capabilities.
- Works with business partner to elicit high‑level requirements and capture business needs.
- Create mock‑up screen / wire‑frame with prototype tools.
- Clearly articulates and documents business requirements.
- Creates, analyzes, and validates detailed functional specification or user requirements into a Functional Specification Document (FSD) & System Requirement Specification (SRS).
- Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands.
- Manages ongoing relationship with the business partners to drive satisfaction with project delivery.
- Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk‑through to communicate system designs and validate proposed solutions.
- Obtains key inputs from relevant parties and identifies solution inter dependencies.
- Engages with knowledge workers to incorporate usability and user interface needs when designing systems.
- Proactively resolves customer satisfaction issues.
- Provides UAT support to the stakeholders.
- Designs and maintains the application user guide.
- Understands and simplifies the application flow according to market usability and best practices.
- Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
- Broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following areas: Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance, Financial related application.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Science related field.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of information technology and business concepts.
- Familiarity with general business functions.
- Willing to travel (Malaysia and Overseas).
- Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus as we are dealing with Chinavendor.
- Analytical skills to critically evaluate information received from customers and vendors in order to translate it into user flow and requirement.
- Communication skills to solicit input from customers and vendors during consolidation and categorization into functional specifications.
- Observational and troubleshooting skills to foresee the potential impact of existing and future flows.
- Problem‑solving skills to continuously generate structured ideas while solving problems with new user flow.
