Job summary

A reputable financial institution in Penang is seeking a professional to manage an SME portfolio, aiming to achieve business targets and enhance product utilization. Responsibilities include meeting customer needs, acquiring new customers, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in Commercial or SME lending with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working independently under pressure. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years in Commercial/SME/Corporate lending and relationship management for Account Manager.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in Commercial/SME/Corporate lending and relationship management for Senior Account Manager.
  • Basic understanding of financial accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the assigned SME portfolio to meet targets.
  • Cross-sell the Bank’s products and services.
  • Acquire new quality loan/deposit customers.
  • Execute business plans set by the Bank.
  • Comply with relevant rules and regulations.

  • To manage the assigned SME portfolio with the objective of meeting personal and business centre targets.
  • To continuously cross-sell the Bank’s products & services, with the objective of meeting the customer needs and achieving the Bank’s financial objectives.
  • To acquire new quality loan / deposit customers.
  • To execute business plans and strategies set by the Bank.
  • To comply with all relevant rules and regulations governing the Bank’s business.
  • To collaborate with product specialists in enhancing utilization of banking facilities, including by not limited to:
  • Trade
  • Forex
  • Cash Management Solutions
JOB REQUIREMENT
  • Minimum 2-3 years in Commercial/SME/Corporate lending and relationship management (for Account Manager) / Minimum 3-5 years in Commercial/SME/Corporate lending and relationship management (for Senior Account Manager)
  • Basic understanding of financial accounts
  • Good Interpersonal skills
  • Banking know-how, credit knowledge preferred
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
