Job summary
A construction firm in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated site manager responsible for overseeing all construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and managing subcontractors. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering and have experience in the plumbing field. Key responsibilities include coordinating with clients and ensuring timely submissions of project documents. This role demands effective problem-solving and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in plumbing is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction site activities and report to the Project Manager.
- Ensure construction activities meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and oversee on-site work.
- Attend meetings with clients and subcontractors.
- Submit all relevant project documents on time.
- Ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Supervise subcontractors and workers.
- Resolve on-site issues as they arise.
Skills
Education
Responsible for construction Site Management and reports to the Project Manager.
Responsible of all construction activities meet quality standards and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Assist the Project Manager in Project Planning and to do co‑ordinate and oversee works on site.
Responsible for attending meetings/discussions with Client, Consultants, Main Contractor, NSC and Subcontractors to coordinate the whole works.
Responsible for the timely submission all documents related to the projects.
To work closely with consultants and sub-contractors to ensure the construction activities follow the drawings and specifications.
Supervise and monitor sub-contractors and workers for site work progress till completion.
Resolve any issues and problems arising on site.
Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in Plumbing field is a great advantage.
