Job summary
A logistics firm in Johor, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end operations, optimize delivery routes, and maintain inventory levels. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and has 5-8 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management. Responsibilities include ensuring timely deliveries while minimizing costs, leading a team to achieve key performance indicators, and developing effective supply chain strategies. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in Warehouse Management, Sales Coordination, and Logistics roles.
- Proven track record of implementing Operational Excellence and Improvement Strategies across organizations.
- Experience as a Warehouse and Logistics Manager or similar role.
Responsibilities
- Manage logistics operations for product distribution.
- Optimize truck routing and minimize delivery costs.
- Control inventory levels and track movement using ERP or manual systems.
- Set up communication channels for customer service and coordination with sales.
- Lead and develop the operations team to meet KPIs.
