A technology service company in Malaysia is looking for a skilled professional to coordinate material kitting and maintain inventory accuracy. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in material control and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP. Candidates should possess strong Excel skills and be capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential. Flexible hours may be required to support production needs.
Coordinate material kitting and issuance for system integration on production lines (server/storage assembly).
Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across internal systems and physical locations.
Identify and elevate material shortages, excesses, or discrepancies to appropriate teams.
Support material replenishment activities and ensure timely delivery to workstations.
Collaborate with planning, warehouse, and procurement to ensure alignment with build plans.
Assist in cycle counting, root cause analysis of inventory variances, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Follow ESD and safety procedures when handling sensitive electronic components.
Update and maintain accurate records of material transactions, lot numbers, and serial tracking (where applicable).
Support production changeovers, engineering builds, and ramp activities with material readiness.
Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Electronics Technology, or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in material control, inventory management, or production support in the electronics or hardware manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with ERP/MES systems (SAP).
Strong Excel/data handling skills; experience with dashboards or material trackers is a plus.
Working knowledge of electronic components and PCBA/server integration processes is highly desirable.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-mix production environment.
Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, as needed for production support.
