CHAMBERING STUDENT / LEGAL ASSISTANT / CONVEYANCING CLERK
Responsibilities
  • 1. Chambering Student & Legal Assistant
    • Assist lawyers/partners in all aspects of conveyancing work, including sale and purchase transactions, loan documentation, perfection of title/charge, discharge of charge, and other related matters.
    • Support the team in ensuring the smooth progress of conveyancing matters from start to completion.
    • Attend to clients, banks, land offices and other legal works assigned by the firm from time to time.
    • Track key dates (e.g: completion, stamping, presentation, signing dates) and provide weekly status reports.
  • 2. Conveyancing Clerk
    • Must be able to handle all conveyancing works and documentation including liaise with clients, banks, land offices, and relevant authorities involving sub-sales, undercon projects, loan, discharge, perfection of transfer and other conveyancing matters.
    • Maintain proper filing systems, key dates, and file progress updates.
    • Ensure all documents and processes comply with firm requirements and conveyancing procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 1. Chambering Student & Legal Assistant
    • LL.B (Hons) from a recognised university.
    • Strong interest in conveyancing practice.
    • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
    • Responsible, organised, attentive to detail, and able to work with guidance.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive working attitude.
    • Possess own transport and ability to start immediately is an added advantage.
  • 2. Legal Assistant
    • LL.B (Hons), minimum 2 years of practical experience in conveyancing.
    • Good grasp of conveyancing procedures, timelines, and command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
    • Strong drafting skills, meticulous with details, and able to manage multiple files at once.
    • Pleasant personality with strong communication skills.
    • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Possess own transport and ability to start immediately is an added advantage.
  • 2. Conveyancing Clerk
    • Minimum 3 years of working experience as a conveyancing clerk.
    • Familiar with conveyancing procedures, timelines, and documentation.
    • Able to manage files with minimal supervision.
    • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
    • Responsible, organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
    • Computer-literate and comfortable with online portals (LHDN, bank portals, e-Tanah, etc.).
    • Possess own transport and ability to start immediately is an added advantage.
