A leading global firm is seeking a Tax Accountant in Kuala Lumpur to ensure tax compliance and reporting across Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. - Comply with state and federal tax filing requirements in Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, including calculating estimated tax payments and assembling data for indirect and corporate income tax filings.
- Advise management on tax-related actions and respond to financial and tax inquiries by analyzing and interpreting data.
- Provide tax advice by applying taxation principles and developing recommendations based on operational issues.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure effective tax compliance processes are in place.
- Keep updated on tax regulations and practices through educational opportunities, professional publications, and networking.
- Contribute to finance and organizational goals by completing related tasks as needed.
