Responsibilities

  • Process Corporate Actions for Clients including Rights Issues and IPOs.
  • Handle Daily Bank/Cash reconciliation and Unit Trust transactions.
  • Check Daily Contract Notes and assist in operational task closure.

Education

Responsibilities
  • Processing of Corporate Actions for Clients (Rights Issue & Bonus Issue, Dividend Reinvestment Plan, Share Consolidation / Stock Split, Take Over Offer, IPOs etc.)
  • Processing Unit Trust transactions
  • Daily Bank/Cash reconciliation
  • Monthly reconciliation of Stock Holdings, Bonds and Unit Trusts
  • Any operation process related to Bond and Sukuks (Transaction, coupon payment, maturity)
As Backup and Checker
  • Download trade for foreign and local
  • Daily Contract Note checking
  • Daily Operational Task closure of accounts (EPF, Private, External);
  • Partial cash or stock withdrawal;
  • Upload Daily Foreign Price, FX rate and VWAP
  • Share transfer;
  • Internal cash transfer;
  • Preparing correspondence and letters in the daily operational work/process;
Other tasks
  • To participate in any work group or working committee as requested from time to time;
  • Assist in other operational functions of PhillipCapital Group of Companies as required from time to time.
Qualifications
  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, accounts, finance or related field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel etc.)
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team
  • Able to multitask, manage time efficiently, with strong attention to detail
  • Able to function with minimum supervision
