Join Texas Instruments as a Tax Accountant to drive tax compliance and reporting across Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Comply with state and federal tax filing requirements in Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, including calculating estimated tax payments and assembling data for indirect and corporate income tax filings.
- Advise management on tax-related actions and respond to financial and tax inquiries by analyzing and interpreting data.
- Provide tax advice by applying taxation principles and developing recommendations based on operational issues.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure effective tax compliance processes are in place.
- Keep updated on tax regulations and practices through educational opportunities, professional publications, and networking.
- Contribute to finance and organizational goals by completing related tasks as needed.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates with 0-2 years of experience; preferably less than 2 years in a tax consulting firm.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with business partners, management, and regional teams.
- Passion for deep data analysis and translating insights into recommendations.
- Proactive, fast learner, curious, with strong work ethics and self-motivation.
- Ability to multitask and drive performance improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Work arrangement: Onsite in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
