Qualifications

The Know Your Client (KYC) Operator role focuses on client lifecycle management (CLM) and exceptions in line with regulatory standards and jurisdictions. The KYC Operator ensures any changes required are implemented with minimum disruptions. The KYC Operator also assists the Bank's clients, managing all KYC and account opening requirements with appropriate governance and controls. They operate in an environment of strict adherence to Standard Operating procedures (SOP’s) and Operation Level Agreements (OLA’s) to achieve accurate and timely account opening to help execute trades.

Your key responsibilities:

The Know Your Client (KYC) Analyst is responsible for the delivery and management of new client onboarding, periodic review, client offboarding processes and client maintenance working within agreed policies, procedures, key performance and risk indicators. The objectives include implementing a robust control environment that allows and drives efficient and effective processing, ensuring regulatory requirements and the Bank's policy are met and verifying the completeness and accuracy of all processes. Operations develop and maintain effective relationships across internal client and partner groups.

  • Liase closely with all business lines in managing the Know Your Clients (KYC) documentation
  • Liase closely with local Anti Financial Crime Officers (AFC) to facilitate new and existing clients onboarding
  • Verification of client data for new and existing clients
  • Perform due diligence check, risk assessment, verification of Know Your Clients (KYC) documentation
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on client due diligence, identify KYC issues, provide solution or elevate to management
  • Participate in self assessments
  • Ensure adherence to standards, procedures and also identify risk mitigants wherever there is a control issue
