Job summary

A leading hospitality firm located in Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia is seeking a marketing manager to oversee marketing collateral, manage public relations, and organize events. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in marketing or communications with at least 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial as well as the ability to take initiative and work collaboratively within a team. Responsibilities

Conceptualizing and producing marketing collateral for all departments, e.g. flyers, menu, edm, invitations, signage, corporate gifts, packages, MICE.

To prepare a library of all promotions done and as well and to prepare a yearly calendar action plan for brand exposure via all sorts of medium.

Develop and execute integrated marketing communication plans, ATL (e.g. radio, print), BTL (e.g. edm), Digital (e.g. website look and feel).

Regular updates and media rate plan on quarterly basis.

PR Role

Managing media interviews as well as bloggers, journalists or writers.

Responsible in answering brand related questions.

Events Management

Champion for major events such as Client Appreciation Night.

Collaboration with organizations such as Radio Stations and Government bodies.

To organize CSR events for the company annually.

Company Anniversary Celebrations.

Social Media Management

Developing social media schedules for agency to manage posts across platforms.

Responsible for enquiries or requests coming from all the social platforms.

Constantly updating news and events happening around town.

Keep abreast on competitor’s advertising and promotions activities.

Newspapers/prints – clippings about FPPH’s ads/activities/write-ups and etc to be kept for reference.

To prepare internal newsletter.

To prepare external quarterly flyers /promotional materials.

Any other duties from time to time assigned by HOD/GM.

Qualifications, experience and skills
