Job summary
A leading logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a legal advisor to provide expert legal advice and manage the company's corporate governance and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess an LL.B (Hons), be called to the Malaysian Bar, and have at least 2 years of experience in litigation and contract management. Responsibilities include reviewing agreements, advising on compliance matters, and managing risk exposure. A strong background in commercial disputes and negotiating skills is essential. This is an opportunity to contribute to diverse legal matters within the organization.
Qualifications
- Called to the Malaysian Bar with a minimum of 2 years of practice experience.
- Prior in-house counsel experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to Management and Business Units on various matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements.
- Identify legal, financial, and operational risks in contracts.
