About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support the successful planning and execution of our construction projects. In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager and project team to ensure operations run smoothly, efficiently, and according to schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer or site coordinator looking to step into a leadership-support role with room for professional growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assist the Project Manager in the overall coordination of project planning, execution, and site activities.

  • Help develop work schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation strategies.

  • Monitor site progress, report on milestones, and assist in managing project timelines and deliverables.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure work is on track.

  • Attend meetings with clients, consultants, authorities, and provide support in documenting action items and decisions.

  • Assist in tracking project costs, material usage, manpower hours, and verifying supplier/subcontractor claims.

  • Support the implementation of quality and safety protocols, and ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Help maintain comprehensive project documentation including reports, logs, and site records.

  • Participate in internal coordination meetings and help resolve minor issues or elevate to the Project Manager when necessary.

  • Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager or Management.

What are we looking for?
  • Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)

  • More than 8 years of experience in civil/earthworks/infrastructure projects & 5 years in Managerial experience

  • Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills

  • Able to manage technical and site-related challenges effectively

Employment Details:
  • Contract Type: 2-year term, renewable based on performance

  • Location: Lagong Mas, Gombak

  • Working Hours:

    • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
