Business Development Executive (Vestech)
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets within key regions, including Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak and other areas as defined by Business Unit (BU) coverage and direction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial, industrial, and residential solar sectors.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing the entire cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Conduct site assessments and present tailored solar PV proposals to potential clients.
  • Advanced in managing CRM Salesforce to log, track and update all lead activities and statuses.
  • Identify, negotiate and secure partnership deals with key channel partners, installers, and EPC contractors.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the partner onboarding and management process.
  • Take ownership of partner preparation, training, performance monitoring and coaching to ensure they are equipped to represent our products and services effectively.
  • Provide ongoing support to partnership teams to drive joint sales initiatives and achieve mutual growth targets.
  • Lead the end-to-end tender preparation process for public and private sector projects.
  • Prepare accurate costing and detailed bill of quantities (BOQ) in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Manage the internal approval process for all tender submissions, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
  • Lead negotiating efforts with clients and suppliers to secure profitable contracts.
  • Oversee the timely and professional submission of all tender documents and conduct diligent follow-up to maximize success rates.
  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and government bodies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, CRM and ERP System.
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Process-oriented and improving processes to maximize efficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear internal updates and professional customer interaction.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to maintain prompt and professional responsiveness to clients, partners and internal teams.
  • A driven individual who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Comfortable to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
  • Possess valid car driving license and able to travel.
