Job summary

A leading electrical appliance manufacturer is seeking an HR Executive in Selangor, Malaysia. The role involves managing all recruitment processes for local employees, overseeing foreign workers' administration, and ensuring proper working procedures are implemented. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management and at least one year of HR experience, especially with foreign workers. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential, along with skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of working experience in Human Resource Administration, preferably in Foreign Workers Management.
  • Good experience in Regulation & Rules on the enforcement of Foreign Workers.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment for local workers including issuance of offer letters and contracts.
  • Screen candidates for open positions through interviews.
  • Manage foreign worker administration duties like updating master listings and permit renewals.
  • Conduct hostel inspections and welfare activities for foreign workers.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR assignments as required.

Job Responsibilities
  • End-to end recruitment for local workers including issuance of offer letter, personal file, contract renewal and etc.
  • Conducting interviews and screening of candidates for open positions.
  • Performing full spectrum of Foreign Workers and Hostel Management including hostel inspection.
  • To handle foreign worker administration duties such as update foreign worker master listing, arrangement for FOMEMA, passport renewal, working permit renewal and etc.
  • Maintain and implementation of proper policy, working procedure, and other rules and regulations.
  • Ad hoc arrangement for the welfare of such workers e.g. Hospitalization, Accidents and other Incidents.
  • Support and assist any other ad-hoc HR assignments/events/group activities.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as required by management.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in Human Resource Administration preferably in Foreign Workers Management
  • Good experience in / exposure to the Regulation & Rules on the on the enforcement of Foreign Workers.
  • Possess team dynamics with high initiative in carrying out daily task is an added advantage.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Computer literate with competency in MS Excel, MS Words and MS PowerPoint.
