We are currently seeking applicants for a Staff Engineer at Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. The role involves leading and managing projects related to equipment, process, tooling, or package design and development to support engineering, maintenance, and production. The goal is continuous improvement in quality, cost, yield, and process performance to meet company objectives.

Job Location: Krubong, Melaka. The location offers a vibrant industrial environment with access to malls, restaurants, recreational parks, and a stadium, along with exposure to diverse local cultures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of engineers and technicians in process optimization, simplification, and improvement.
2. Establish Design of Experiment (DOE) for process improvement projects.
3. Evaluate raw materials to reduce costs, shorten lead times, and enhance productivity and quality.
4. Conduct root cause analysis for process improvement and sustainability.
5. Perform line audits to identify discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in an IC/semiconductor environment.
• Skills in SPC, QCC 7 tools, DOE, and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of material, process, and specification writing.
• Experience in process engineering and project management is advantageous.
