Lead and manage regional O2C operations, including Accounts Receivable and Credit Management activities.
O2C Operations
- Establish and Lead the O2C team and operations across all Continental Tyre Malaysia entities in a KPI driven shared service centre environment
- Drive process improvement initiatives across O2C functions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with focus on improvements in working capital of the companies
- Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure strong internal controls and adherence to regulatory and audit requirements
- Act as a change agent to promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Support cross-functional projects and provide financial insights to business partners
- Review contract in Legal Management System
Cash Management
Lead and manage regional Treasury activities.
- Monitor and improve cash flow performance through effective receivables management and forecasting
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to align processes with corporate finance strategies and policies
- Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities, and anti-money Laundry control point - Level 1
- Supervise and approve TT, computerize cheques and bills of payment, forex bookings and related transactions
- Identify automation opportunities and support implementation of digital tools and technologies
- Promote and lead the development of new technology or enhancement to ensure timely deliver of design, process and specification which fulfils the defined targets and know-how for the future
Project Management and Process Improvement
- Lead project plan for each area of focus, including project implementation actions items, status updates and Conti Tyre Malaysia communications
- Monitor the interdependencies between current projects and those in other areas of Finance. Communicate with other project teams, as necessary, to ensure clear understanding of key timelines, deliverables, etc.
- Provide regular updates to project teams, Business Units, Corporate Treasury and Financing personnel and Management
- Responsible for the overall performance of the team, monitoring their performance, providing timely feedback & assisting them to improve on their identified training needs
- Responsible for updating both the direct supervisor and the team regularly on projects. In addition, schedule a regular communication with the direct supervisor to ensure awareness of when escalation of other issues is required
HR
- Lead and develop a highly qualified staff, ensure succession planning within the organisation
- Identify clear objectives for the team, providing coaching, career development and feedback to team members, providing performance evaluation and reward
