Senior Finance Executive
Job summary
A financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced finance professional to manage accounting and financial operations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, supervising a finance team, and ensuring compliance with regulations. A diploma in finance or accounting and at least 2 years of relevant experience are essential. Strong skills in financial reporting and analytical abilities are necessary, as well as proficiency in financial software. Attractive benefits including annual leave and training are provided.

- Knowledgeable in e-invoicing rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare full sets of accounts and variance analysis.
- Review all work done by juniors and ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Conduct weekly audits on Company Internal Key Indicators.
- Initiate process improvements in financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and financial reporting standards.
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors and tax authorities.
- Supervise a small finance team.
- Assist Finance Manager with IPO preparations and other projects.

Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is an advantage.
At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Knowledgeable in e-invoicing rules and regulations.
Proficiency in financial and accounting software.
Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Good ownership of financial operations, problem-solving, and decision-making.

- Conduct and review weekly audit on Company Internal Key Indicators to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Involve in all financial operations and initiate process improvements such as streamlining financial operations using integrations, formulas or any AI tools.
- Familiar with latest tax, regulatory and financial reporting standards and ensure compliances.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities and investors.
- Supervise a small team of finance team members, ensuring smooth daily operations and performance.
- Work closely with Finance Manager and assist in various incoming projects; IPO preparations, grants and tax incentives applications, e-invoicing, pricing strategy, budgeting, and other future projects.
