Our client is an innovator at the intersection of AI and the Metaverse, building a decentralized ecosystem. Our esteemed client is seeking a Finance Senior Associate with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience. This position is based in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.

Job Summary
The Finance Senior Associate will be responsible for internal financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and contributing to cross-functional finance initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with external accountants and tax advisors while maintaining financial discipline within the organization. This role is suited for a detail-oriented and proactive professional looking to grow in a fast-paced Web3 environment.

Job Description:
* Coordinate with external accounting and tax providers, ensuring compliance with financial reporting and statutory requirements.
* Review financial deliverables such as general ledgers, financial statements, and tax computations for accuracy and regulatory alignment.
* Prepare monthly internal management reports and operational metrics for senior leadership.
* Support cash flow tracking, including both fiat and cryptocurrency assets.
* Maintain financial records and liaise with auditors and tax authorities as necessary.
* Assist in budgeting processes and support internal cost control across teams.
* Liaise with banking institutions on payments and account matters.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with Malaysian tax obligations (SST, corporate tax, withholding tax).
* Contribute to continuous improvement in finance processes and systems.
* Provide support for strategic finance and cross-functional projects as needed.

Key job requirements include:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit.
* Experience in Big Four firms or tech/startup environments is an advantage.
* Knowledge of Malaysian tax and accounting regulations.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups).
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage tasks independently.
* Strong communication skills in English.
* Interest or experience in the Web3 or crypto industry is a plus.
