We’re looking for a high‑caliber professional to join our team as Officer, TAX & FINANCIAL REPORTING SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (Internal Job Title: Fund Accounting Analyst 2 – C10 – Hybrid) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and review tax, financial and other regulatory reporting for our superannuation fund and managed investment trust clients.
• Ensure high‑quality, accurate and timely reporting with an exceptional level of detail, and resolve operational issues.
• Support continuous process improvement and collaborate with internal stakeholders on technology developments.
• Prepare business activity financial statements, distribution calculations and tax returns.
• Prepare financial statements and APRA/ABS regulatory reporting.
• Reconcile accounting to taxable income.
• Perform daily and monthly activities per established procedures and controls.
• Review and resolve aging break items and breaks above a defined dollar threshold.
• Review procedures and controls.
• Provide backup coverage for team members and assist during high‑volume periods.
• Assist the team manager with audit queries, client queries and risk‑related items.
• Assess risk when making business decisions and uphold Citigroup’s reputation by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policy.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business studies, technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience, including financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience in fund administration, change management and/or project management.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet varying deadlines and work volumes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
