Job summary

A leading technology company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Treasury Accountant to manage all aspects of treasury accounting. Responsibilities include month-end reporting, compliance with treasury policies, and providing insights on variances. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of derivative products and at least 5 years of relevant experience. This position requires analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as proficiency in financial systems and software applications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a treasury accounting role.
  • Proven experience with hedge accounting recognition.
  • Relevant work experience across APAC is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the month end close process for Treasury.
  • Monitor weekly policy compliance.
  • Assist with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
