Job Description
- Perform product costing for newly developed materials and re-cost existing materials when required.
- Carry out transfer pricing calculations in line with organizational policies.
- Execute quarterly and annual standard costing processes.
- Prepare routine plant accruals and support ad-hoc accrual requests from plants during the month.
- Conduct P&L reviews and liaise with plant teams to ensure all costs are accurately recorded.
- Process orders and maintenance order settlements in a timely manner.
- Generate and distribute Process Order Variance Reports to manufacturing plants for variance analysis and commentary.
- Ensure actual distribution cycles and assessment cycles are accurate and up to date.
- Perform inventory valuation (FIFO) and analyze purchase price variances (PPV).
- Manage cost of goods sold (COGS) distribution and production volume allocation to cost components.
- Execute material ledger closing for actual costing.
- Validate changes to BOM/BOL to ensure proper documentation and justification.
- Responsible for monthly reporting of conversion costs (plan vs actual) and submission to the CoE for analysis and commentary.
- Prepare cost estimates for New Product Developments (NPD), coordinating closely with relevant stakeholders.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of related accounts.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum Qualifications
- MBA (Finance) or ICMA with solid supply chain finance experience.
- Hands‑on in budgeting, financial planning, and month‑end closing.
- Experience in a manufacturing or Fortune 500 environment; logistics exposure is a plus.
- Strong SAP and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and business partnering abilities.
