Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Analyst to perform analysis and manage financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required. Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance roles.
  • Experience in public listed companies or Big Four audit firms is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform finance analysis and operations data.
  • Review and implement finance operating processes and controls.
  • Analyze budget, cashflows, and performance of Business Units.
  • Handle tax planning and related matters.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough finance analysis and finance related operations data for the day-today operation activities of Business Unit to optimize operational cost efficiency.
  • Review, strengthen and implement Business Unit’s finance operating processes, internal control procedures, and policy & procedures implementation.
  • Review internal audit report and findings, drive for SOP enhancement and improvement in Business Units.
  • Review and analyze budget, cashflows, finance and operating performance of Business Units.
  • Handle group tax planning and managing tax-related matters for Business Units.
  • Assist to analyze financial results across the investment portfolio and operating entities.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal cross-functional teams include overseas business unit/subsidiary companies and relevant professional parties and authorities including lawyers, company secretaries, auditors, tax advisors and bankers.
  • Any ad-hoc assignment as assigned by your superior from time to time.
Qualification & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experiences preferably in public listed company or Big Four audit firm.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong and good written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Meticulous attention to fine detail and able to work to tight deadlines.
