Job Overview
You will be helping in delivering a high level of consistent service and food offering across a range of operations for the catering department, including high volume race days, conferences & events, clubhouse, cafes, restaurants, and internal hospitality.

Key Relationships
- Attend weekly and event planning meetings as required.
- Monitor wastage and production levels in line with business needs.
- Ensure accurate allergen and food safety information is available.
- Adhere to all opening & closing procedures.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workplace.
- Proactively support operational duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow work schedules, specifications, and menu production standards.
- Prepare and present food according to company standards.
- Follow food safety and health & safety policies.
- Manage stock control processes.
- Support front-of-house team in food service as needed.
Team Responsibilities
- Ensure positive communication between catering, SCL departments, and service staff.
- Liaise with stores and kitchen teams for safe and timely food delivery.
- Operate the kitchen in the absence of the senior chef.
- Conduct daily food safety checks.
- Communicate allergen and service briefings clearly to the team.
Performance Monitoring
Performance will be assessed based on:
- Participation in meetings.
- Monitoring wastage and production levels.
- Availability of allergen and food safety information.
- Adherence to opening & closing procedures.
- Workplace cleanliness and tidiness.
- Proactive operational support.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Operational experience in retail catering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, organized and efficient.
- Attention to detail and pride in work.
- Professional and warm personality.
- Full clean UK driving license.
- Level three Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH.
- Flexibility to work weekends and some evenings.
