Employment Type: Project Based Employment (6 Months to 2 years) successful candidates to be utilized for various future contracts.
Purpose: Creation of Database of Candidates for upcoming Greenfield and Brownfields projects.
Summary: We are looking for Quality Officers for several upcoming projects for our client who is a giant in the construction sector. The purpose of this exercise is to gather a suitable candidate database and connect with them and maintain relationships in order to be proactive for project start-up. This step would eliminate having to source candidates at short notice at project kick-off. Applicants to note that these are not active vacancies and therefore apply with future intent. - A Quality Officer is responsible for ensuring that the project's operation meets established quality standards. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance processes, conducting audits, and working closely with various departments to maintain and improve quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and audits of products, processes, and systems to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of quality procedures, processes, and audits. Ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Compliance: Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant quality standards, regulations, and laws.
- Training: Provide training and support to staff on quality standards and best practices. Develop training materials and sessions as needed.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and investigate quality issues, and work with relevant teams to resolve problems and implement corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement. Recommend and implement changes to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Reporting: Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to management. Highlight key issues, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
- Customer Focus: Monitor and evaluate customer feedback to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations. Address any quality-related customer complaints.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., production, engineering, supply chain) to ensure quality standards are integrated into all processes.
