Une entreprise de recrutement basée à Durban recherche un Ingénieur de Production expérimenté pour prendre en charge les performances opérationnelles de l'usine et fournir une expertise en matière de traitement de l'eau. Le candidat idéal aura un diplôme en génie chimique, une expérience en gestion d'usine et sera proactif dans la recherche de solutions d'optimisation.
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria :
Eng or BTech in Chemical Engineering (Required)
Have a firm grasp of especially mechanical engineering principles, as well as electrical and instrumentation exposure
3 5 years working experience in an engineering or production related field preferred
MS Office and Email literacy
Preferably water treatment experienced with specific experience in RO, UF, Precipitation, Clarification
Have Code B drivers license and own transport
Solution and improvement focused (initiative and motivation).
Proactively work within a team, with the ability to work unsupervised
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to :
Operational responsibility for plant operational performance and wellbeing, whilst ensuring safe and efficient operations of the plant(s)
Providing Process, Operational and Maintenance expertise
Monitor and evaluate plant health and performance and take appropriate actions
Compile and distribute daily plant operational performance reports to internal and external stakeholders
Identify and drive optimization and cost saving initiatives and efforts
Track chemical consumption and manage chemical stock levels
Monitor the cost of treatment and optimize where possible
Identifying and implementation of Continuous Improvement Initiatives
Lead onsite implementation of process changes
Delivery of process related inputs required on projects in accordance with sound established engineering principles and standards to satisfy business requirements, including commissioning of new installations
Management of risks relating to protection of plant equipment
Compiling Standard Operating Procedures where required
Perform training and development of Process Controllers and Supervisors
Adhere to Incident Notification protocols and management of Incidents / NCR's and follow-through on corrective / preventative actions
General client management and attendance of meetings
Ensure PTOs, SWPs and Task Risk Assessments are in place, communicated and conducted as per schedule / procedural requirements
Client communication, interaction and management
