Job summary
A leading cash management solutions provider in South Africa is seeking an experienced Risk Investigator to join the team in Newcastle. The Investigator will ensure investigations are conducted properly regarding criminal incidents involving customers and employees. Key requirements include a Grade 12 qualification, PSIRA Grade B certification, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in investigations. Strong communication skills and knowledge of South African security legislation are essential for this role.
Qualifications

IZI South Africa (PTY) is a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions and is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Risk Investigator to join our team in Newcastle. Reporting to the Risk and Security Director the Risk Investigator will play a critical role within the business ensuring that investigations are properly done. The Investigator provides an investigation service to a customer, in compliance with legislation, Company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all incidents / allegations of criminal activity involving IZI South Africa customers and employees are investigated.
- Ensure that all accidents resulting in injury, damage or loss involving IZI South Africa employees are investigated.
- Ensure that a case docket is created for each investigation, recording all relevant information, witnesses and securing evidence required for a criminal prosecution, disciplinary process or liability claim.
- Implement and maintain effective management of case dockets, ensuring that appropriate processes and actions are initiated, finalized and recorded.
- Identify and recruit informers, to ensure effective information gathering within the region regarding criminal activity impacting on IZI South Africa customers.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with local SAPS structures.
- Provide appropriate assistance to SAPS officials to ensure criminal prosecution of cases investigated on behalf of IZI South Africa customers.
