We’re looking for Account Managers based all over South Africa, with sales experience from any tech, software, engineering, or construction-related industry, to join our national Rental sales team. We are looking for Account Managers in the following locations:

• Johannesburg
• Nelspruit
• Durban
• Cape Town

This is a “bench-role” which exists for the purpose of talent pipeline creation to address our future hiring needs as they become active.

As a Rental Account Manager, you will build relationships with your customers, understand their business needs, and establish a plan, aligned to the strategic elements of the organization, to grow and develop your territory. You will stay close to the various people and departments within your customer’s business – from workshop technicians to hire consultants, as well as have frequent discussions with business owners.

Our sales model is about professional consultative selling, and it’s a hands-on job. You will demonstrate some of the most pioneering products in the industry, promote Hilti Services, manage customer queries, optimize your calendar and administration efficiently, and collaborate with departments across Hilti to provide top-class after-sales service. It’s about nurturing relationships and helping clients find innovative and cost-efficient solutions.

• Minimum 5 years Sales experience.
• Experience in industries such as Hire, Construction, Engineering, Services Installation, Retail, Tech (software), Mechanical/Electrical.
• B2B, Key Account Manager, or National Account Manager experience involving longer sales cycles, large deals, and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong CRM understanding, preferably Salesforce.
• Operational, process, time management, and administrative skills.
• Negotiation, listening, communication (English written and verbal), and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Tertiary education preferred.
