Business Development Executive

This role can be onsite in Jersey (St Brelade) or remote in South Africa (Cape Town).

As a BDE, you will be involved in all aspects of the sales cycle within a fast-paced startup environment.

Your responsibilities include contributing to our sales strategy, creating content, generating leads, qualifying prospects, delivering demos, and closing sales.

You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, so exceptional communication skills are essential.

The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and eager to succeed in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a BDE or similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with sales automation and CRM tools
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in software sales and marketing
  • Experience in law, compliance, or regulatory environments (preferred)
