A successful Technical Trainer - APAC should have:

• Deliver technical training to clients and internal teams
• Develop and update training materials to align with product updates and industry trends
• Conduct technical workshops and seminars
• Provide on-going technical support to clients across the APAC region
• Assist in the development of technical competency standards
• Conduct assessments to measure training effectiveness
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and trends
• Organise and deliver product training sessions, providing technical expertise to both national and international customers and sales partners.
• Offer technical support to the sales team during training sessions, product presentations, customer events, and trade shows.
• Actively assist training participants and customers, ensuring their technical queries and needs are addressed effectively.
• Develop and update presentations, training modules, and documentation, serving as a liaison between various specialist departments.
• Lead the didactic development of training content to ensure clarity and engagement.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing with other departments, contributing actionable suggestions for improvement.
• Create video content in the local language, including YouTube tutorials and other training materials.
• Act as a presenter and content creator for social media platforms, such as Instagram shorts, to enhance audience engagement.
• Participate in regular travel activities as required by the role.

A successful Technical Trainer - APAC should have:

• A degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Technical Trainer or a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
• The ability to develop and update training materials
• Strong technical skills and the ability to provide on-going support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to travel across the APAC region as required
• Extensive professional experience and expertise in the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors.
• Hands‑on experience in delivering technical training and a deep understanding of automotive engineering principles.
• Proven track record in teaching and presenting technical training materials effectively.
• Strong skills in pedagogy, rhetoric, and instructional design.
• Excellent communication and customer‑focused interaction abilities.
• Independent, structured, and detail‑oriented approach to work.
• Ability to inspire and motivate others, with strong intercultural awareness, stress resilience, and adaptability.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP, particularly modules relevant to the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; additional language skills are an advantage based on regional requirements.
