Supply Chain jobs in Malaysia

• Prepare project costing for residential, commercial and industrial solar/BESS projects (and EV chargers if applicable).
• Develop and maintain Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and material lists based on design drawings and SLDs.
• Source and evaluate suppliers & subcontractors for panels, inverters, structures, cables, switchgear, BESS, etc.
• Request and compare quotations (RFQ), prepare cost comparison summaries, and recommend vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules to achieve target margins.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track delivery status to meet project timelines.
• Coordinate closely with the project / engineering team to confirm specifications and material requirements.
• Maintain a cost database (historical prices, vendor performance, standard rates) for faster future quotations.
• Ensure all purchases follow company SOPs and basic compliance requirements.

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in procurement, costing, QS or project support, preferably in construction, M&E, solar or electrical.
• Good understanding of basic electrical / solar components (panels, inverters, mounting, cables, breakers, etc.) is a strong advantage.
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, costing templates) and comfortable handling multiple quotations.
• Good negotiation, vendor management and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with tight timelines across multiple projects.
