Job summary

A leading heavy machinery company in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to manage spare parts in the warehouse. You will handle incoming parts, operate forklifts, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure a safe working environment. Ideal candidates will have SPM or Diploma in relevant fields, with teamwork and strong communication skills being essential. Experience in the heavy machinery industry is a plus. This role offers the opportunity for hands-on management of warehouse operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming spare parts and safely unload spare parts from containers.
• Operate forklift or other MHE to perform sorting in warehouse.
• Unbox spare parts, ensure correct labelling, and organize neatly on racking according to warehouse standards.
• Assist in regular stock take to ensure inventory accuracy and justify discrepancies.
• Pick, prepare, and pack spare parts based on customer orders; ensure all shipments are accurate and ready for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, following all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Any ad-hoc activities assigned.

Job Requirements

• SPM or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Warehouse Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management or any relevant field.
• Prior experience in the heavy machinery industry or a similar warehouse environment is an added advantage.
• Familiar with WMS system is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
• Valid forklift certificate or experience in operating MHEs is a plus.
