A leading logistics company is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS). Key responsibilities include leading budgeting and forecasting processes, preparing financial reports, and optimizing cash flow. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of finance management experience, preferably in manufacturing or logistics. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling are crucial for success in this role.
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in general ledger management, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
Management Accounting & Business Partnering
Lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating planning processes.
Perform comprehensive business, cost, profitability, and variance analyses to deliver forward-looking insights and recommendations that support management decision-making.
Develop and maintain a strong KPI framework to monitor business performance and drive financial targets across all departments.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Prepare MIS reports and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis, clearly identifying business trends, risks, and opportunities.
Assess the financial feasibility of investment projects, product pricing, and business proposals to support strategic planning.
Treasury & Working Capital Management
Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory management to optimize cash flow and enhance working capital efficiency.
Cost Control & Internal Controls
Lead cost accounting and cost control initiatives.
Establish, review, and continuously improve internal control and risk management frameworks.
Compliance & Team Leadership
Ensure all financial activities comply with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to strengthen overall capability and performance.
Requirements :-
Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines; professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA are highly preferred.
Minimum 5 years of relevant finance management experience, with strong background in FP&A or Management Accounting. Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain industries is an added advantage.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and cost analysis, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
Solid knowledge of MFRS, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel for data analysis.
Demonstrated experience in leading teams with strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
