A leading engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking a professional to coordinate the end-to-end RFQ process. The role demands a Bachelor's degree and proficiency in English, along with procurement experience, preferably in Engineering Building Services. The candidate should demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills while managing multiple RFQs under tight deadlines. Coordinate the end-to-end RFQ process, including preparing, issuing, and tracking RFQs.
Review and validate requestor requirements prior to RFQ issuance.
Consolidate, analyze, and compare supplier quotations to support sourcing decisions.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Focus on the outcome of tasks, results oriented.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Prepare cost analysis, supplier evaluations for review.
Continuously identify and implement process improvements within the RFQ cycle.
Monitor RFQ cycle time, generate reports, and escalate delays when necessary.
Degree in any discipline (Bachelor’s degree or above).
Proficiency in English (both written and verbal), knowledge of Mandarin and English Language added advantages.
Procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in Engineering Building Services.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Agile and adaptable, able to respond to changes quickly, make sound decisions, and act with urgency.
Positive attitude, willingness to take on challenges, and strong sense of ownership.
High attention to detail with strong responsibility and accountability.
