Job description

Health, Safety, and Discipline:

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and discipline in hostels.

Ensure compliance with company policies, addressing and reporting violations.

Monitor worker performance and resolve workplace issues.

Maintenance Oversight:

Oversee maintenance of hostel facilities, resolving minor and major repair issues promptly.

Worker Welfare and Security:

Address worker welfare, medical issues, and emergencies (e.g., illnesses, fires).

Liaise with panel clinics and manage FOMEMA-related processes.

Inventory Management:

• Track and replenish essential supplies (e.g., bedding, toiletries).
• Handle passport renewals, permits, and related government procedures.
• Assist with bank account openings and resolve ATM issues.
• Mediate disputes among workers or between workers and management.

Conduct monthly meetings with Hostel leaders / Workers representatives

Reporting and Audits:

Conducted monthly hostel audits and prepared reports for management.

General Tasks:

Perform additional duties assigned by superiors.

Supervision Areas:

• Hostel Facilities: Ensure maintenance and hygiene standards are met.
• Rules and Regulations: Enforce hostel rules and report violations.
• Security: Oversee hostel entry/exit and ensure resident safety.
• Conduct safety patrols, inspections, and spot checks.
• Monitor worker attendance (leaving/returning to the hostel).
• Support awareness training on company policies.
• Maintain updated worker records and submit monthly Hostel room's name lists.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM or relevant working experience in a related field
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Manufacturing Industry.
• Knowledge in handling foreign workers will be advantages
• Independent and result oriented with good communication skills.
• Should have good discipline and a strong personality.
