Job summary

A local engineering consulting firm in Malaysia seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to execute civil and structural design works and ensure compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients and contractors to drive project success, carry out documentation for authorities, and attend site inspections. An accredited Civil Engineering degree, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in software like ETABS and AutoCAD are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduated with an accredited degree in Civil Engineering and registered with BEM as Graduate Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in structure and infrastructure design.
• Engineer with integrity and a positive working attitude.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project success.
• Coordinate with drafters on deliverable.
• Carry out Authorities submission and documentation.
• Handle tasks and projects as assigned by the supervising engineer.
• Site inspection as required.

Requirements

• Graduated with an accredited degree in Civil Engineering and registered with Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM) as Graduate Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, particularly in structure and infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software, such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and other Autodesk REVIT and BIM applications, are an advantage.
• Engineer with integrity and positive working attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a pleasant and diligent personality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative and self-motivation.
• Willing to travel and attend outstation jobs as required.
