Job summary
A logistics company in Penang is seeking a candidate to manage the delivery of shipments and oversee daily operations. The ideal applicant should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree, have at least 2 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. Responsibilities include managing staff, handling cash on delivery payments, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. This role is crucial for ensuring timely deliveries and efficient inventory control.
Qualifications

- Preferably have a specialization in Logistics/Supply Chain.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required.
Responsibilities
- Track and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Manage staff and subcontractors for task execution.
- Handle cash on delivery payments and daily banking.
- Control inventory and monitor shipments.
Skills
Education
- Track and ensure timely delivery of shipments from pickup to delivery.
- Manage staff, subcontractors, and part-time workers to ensure proper and complete task execution.
- Stand in as a hub manager when necessary.
- Handle cash on delivery (COD) payments and ensure daily banking.
- Coordinate closely with customer service to fulfill customer requests.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Control inventory and monitor shipments to reduce the risk of missing or damaged parcels.
- Perform any other tasks as instructed by superiors.
- Conform to ISO 23412 Cold Chain Management System (CCMS), ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System, and Halal Assurance System.
- Ensure safety of oneself and others.
- Participate in QMS, OHS, and GDPMD related programs such as training, campaigns, induction, and others.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in any field.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant working experience is required.
- Preferably a Senior Executive with specialization in Logistics/Supply Chain or related field.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required.
