Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner specializing in sub-assembly planning to ensure timely and efficient production of components leading to final assembly. The ideal candidate will coordinate with procurement, engineering, and production teams to create and maintain accurate sub-assembly schedules that support the master production plan.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain sub-assembly production schedules in alignment with the master production schedule.
Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and lead times to plan material and resource requirements.
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials for sub-assemblies.
Monitor production progress and resolve issues or delays in sub-assembly stages.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to manage engineering change notices (ECNs) and ensure correct BOMs are used.
Optimize production processes by identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements.
Track sub-assembly inventory and coordinate with warehouse for material availability.
Generate reports on production performance, material usage, and capacity utilization.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or equivalent
2 years and above of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
