Job summary

A food manufacturing company in Ipoh, Perak is seeking a professional to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations. The candidate will monitor product quality, perform research and development for new products, and act as a Hygiene Officer. Individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related fields and preferably 2-3 years of experience in the food industry are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of MESTI, GMP, HALAL, and HACCP is a plus for this role.

Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in the food industry, fresh graduates encouraged.
  • Knowledge of MESTI, GMP, HALAL, HACCP, ISO 22000 is an advantage.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Perform R&D for new food products.
  • Monitor food safety principles in process flow.
  • Act as Hygiene Officer conducting internal audits.
