Job description

PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN ( STAMPING - SMALL PROGRESSIVE )

Perform daily minor maintenance on the Progressive Stamping Machine in line with SOPs to ensure smooth and accurate operations.

Verify that stamping machine facilities are safe and compliant with Safety Operating Procedures before process start-up.

Arrange and prepare production plans, ensuring raw and packing materials are ready to achieve zero waiting time.

Set up tooling and automation lines according to production plans and SOPs.

Operate production processes strictly based on SOPs, ensuring accurate output and reject recording.

Conduct quality checks to confirm process accuracy and compliance with standards.

Adhere to rules and policies during tool changeovers and shift handovers.

Perform 5S activities and line clearance at end of production or during tool changeover according to Line Clearance SOP.

Ensure safety of work place during start/ new setup/ running production

Escalate issues promptly in cases of stamping machine breakdown, tooling failure, or part rejections.

Supervise operator discipline (if assigned) and uphold workplace 5S and safety standards.

Support achievement of production KPIs: Output, Quality, Zero Downtime

Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
