Overview

Autism Gym Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Special Need Teacher to join our dynamic team in Sri Gombak, Selangor. As a Special Need Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality therapy and support services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental challenges. This is a full‑time position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients. Facility public transport not available: place near LRT Gombak.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs and goals of each child
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address the physical, cognitive, and social‑emotional needs of children
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to each child's care
  • Facilitate engaging and enriching therapy sessions, including play‑based activities, sensory integration, and behavioural interventions
  • Monitor and track the progress of each child, adjusting therapy plans as needed
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of each child's progress and therapy sessions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our therapy services and programs
What We're Looking For
  • A degree in Psychology, Physiotherapy, Childhood Education, Counselling or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities to adapt therapy approaches to individual needs
  • Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the clinic
