Warehouse Supervisor (6 working days per week)
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and dispatch. This role ensures smooth workflow, high productivity, and strict compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements. The Supervisor also leads and develops warehouse teams to achieve operational efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations Management: Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily warehouse activities (receiving, picking, packing, shipping). Ensure timely and accurate order processing to meet delivery schedules. Maintain proper stock organization, labeling, and storage practices. Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations. Supervise and motivate team leaders and warehouse assistants. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure productivity targets are met. Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews. Provide training, coaching, and disciplinary support when necessary.
- Inventory & Documentation: Ensure all inventory movements are recorded accurately in the system (WMS / ERP). Perform stock checks, cycle counts, and variance investigations. Review and verify warehouse documentation (GRN, DO, stock reports). Maintain accurate reports for management review.
- Safety, Quality & Compliance: Enforce compliance with warehouse safety procedures and PPE use. Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments regularly. Ensure all goods are handled properly to prevent damage or loss. Implement continuous improvement in warehouse efficiency and safety standards.
- Equipment & Facility Management: Oversee proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, scanners, etc.). Report any equipment breakdowns or facility issues promptly. Ensure warehouse cleanliness and good housekeeping at all times.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
- Physically fit and willing to work overtime or shifts when needed.
